Authenticity is all in the detail

My love for the Haute-Couture fashion industry started in my early teen age years, watching and helping my talented mother at our family home in Ilford Essex. I discovered my great passion for fine fabrics such as, satin silks, wools, velvet, French lace, taffeta, silk organza in various weights and textures.

Transforming a piece of cloth into an art piece in the making, to decorate a woman’s body, making it fit to perfection felt like magic.

I discovered the love for hand draping fabric pieces on the stand, converting it into a garment. It gave me enormous sense of satisfaction, pleasure to create innovative designs.

My first work experience was with Victor Edelstein – Haute Couture Fashion Designer at his atelier in Stanhope Mews Gloucester Road.

I spent six and half years mastering intricate haute couture techniques from pattern cutting, draping on the stand, fittings garments on the body, beading, and hand finishing.

During this time I made exquisite gowns for VIPs such as the late beautiful Princess Diana (in collaboration with Victor Edelstein), Lady Sainsbury and many more stylish elegant ladies.

I also collaborated with over 40 well established haute couture Fashion designers such as Catherine Walker, Jenny Packham, Bruce Oldfield, Vivienne Westwood, and many more talented fashion designers.
